Abstract
The global prevalence of Hypovitaminosis D remains a primary public health concern, impacting musculoskeletal integrity and immune homeostasis. While traditional Cholecalciferol (D3) is primarily animal derived, there is an increasing clinical demand for high-potency, vegan-compliant alternatives. This paper evaluates Vegiferol®, a nature identical Vitamin D3 complex derived from the lichen. We examine the pharmacological efficacy of Vegiferol® in its concentrated 1 Million IU/g Oil and stabilized 100,000 IU/g Powder formats. Clinical data suggest that even at the physiological baseline dose of 400 IU, the unique lichen-derived matrix demonstrates superior serum absorption markers within a 48-hour window compared to conventional counterparts.
