Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force in both rehabilitation sciences and pharmaceutical research. By integrating machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, robotics, and advanced formulation technologies, AI enhances diagnostic precision, personalizes therapy, optimizes drug design, and strengthens patient engagement. In rehabilitation, these innovations drive progress in occupational therapy, physical therapy, and mental health care through immersive technologies such as virtual reality, robotics, and wearable devices. In pharmaceutical sciences, AI accelerates in silico drug design, supports nanomedicine, and facilitates phytopharmaceutical integration. This review provides a comprehensive account of contemporary advancements, emphasizing the synergistic impact of AI in physical, mental, and pharmacological rehabilitation, while underscoring the convergence of computational tools, novel drug delivery, and holistic patient-centered care.
