Authors’ Responsibilities

• Authors must disclose all potential conflicts of interest at the time of manuscript submission.
• Conflicts of interest may include (but are not limited to):
  • Financial support or funding
  • Employment or consultancy
  • Personal or professional relationships
  • Affiliations with organizations that may influence the work
• A Conflict of Interest statement must be clearly included within the manuscript.
• Authors must also declare that the submission is free from any undisclosed conflicts that could bias the research.

Reviewers’ Responsibilities

• Reviewers must disclose any conflict of interest that could influence their objectivity.
• If a conflict exists, reviewers should decline the review invitation.
• If a conflict is identified after accepting the review, the reviewer must inform the Editor-in-Chief immediately.
• Reviewers must ensure:
  • Fair and unbiased evaluation
  • Confidentiality of the manuscript
  • No use of unpublished information for personal benefit

Editors’ Responsibilities

• Editors must not be involved in the decision-making process for manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest.
• If a conflict arises (e.g., submission from colleagues, collaborators, or personal connections), the manuscript will be handled by:
  • Another editor, or
  • An independent member of the editorial board
• Editors must ensure:
  • Impartial editorial decisions
  • Transparency and fairness in the peer-review process
